Wear a mask for days 6-10 following end of quarantine.

CONTACT WITH A POSITVE CASE

  1. I recently visited Tucker County. I had breakfast at The Sawmill on October 5th. NONE of the staff were wearing face masks. I traveled for three weeks through NC, TN, WV, and VA. This was the only business where I observed employees not wearing face masks. I felt vulnerable and could not enjoy my meal. Sincerely, Don Ross

  2. I am a 85 year old male and would like to get vaccinated when it is available. Can I get on a list to be notified when it is available.

  3. Hi,
I frequently must visit Shop ‘n Save Express in Davis. I noticed multiple f times that employees in the back don’t wear a mask. Also, some customers do not wear a mask. I nicely spoke to my cashier about it. She kindly responded that it is not nothing that she can do because it is optional to wear a mask in WV.

I was very surprised about it.

  4. My husband & I moved to tucker county 6mths ago. We are both 66 yrs old. Where can we get the covid vaccine?
    The Morgans

  5. All day today I tried to call the number listed on yesterday’s post to get an appointment for COVID vaccinations at the Regional Vaccination Clinic in Randolph County on Thursday of this week. I called the number literally 65 times since 10:00am — and always got a busy signal or the call was just disconnected. The number answers now, but gives a message that its mailbox is full and then gives options about entering a last name, or dialing an extension or holding for an operator — NONE of which work. I’m 70 years old and am very eager to be vaccinated. What is the point of offering the option to call a number to make an appointment if it doesn’t work?

  6. Thank you, Mr. Snyder for your thoughtful email reply to my posting yesterday. Yeah, it’s really frustrating to keep dialing all day with no luck, but I do understand that the folks on the other side of the line are working as hard as they can to get vaccines into the arms of folks like me. I will TRY to be more patient!

  7. Question
If we got our first dose, are we to report to the Phil Gainer Center in Elkins on the date printed on our card for our second dose? Or, should we wait to be notified about our appointment for our second dose?
We are registered in the new system.
    Thank you so much
    ,
    Eileen
